In 2017 I caught up with the rest of the world and discovered Charlotte Tilbury. That’s the problem with living on a rock!

Aside from the results of the products themselves, what I love most about this brand is the way the products have been designed to make it easy for ANYONE to apply.

Although I have studied makeup as part of my beauty qualification, I have never been someone who tries a huge variety of makeup and all the latest trends. Having acne has made me incredibly loyal to the brands that I know suit my skin, so as a newbie to Charlotte Tilbury; I really love how user friendly the products are.

When choosing your makeup, finding the right colour is pretty essential if you want makeup to highlight your features and not hide them!

There are so many colours to choose from to find the perfect, so where possible I would recommend going in-store to have a professional choose the colour for you.

Most makeup brands offer the option to have your whole face applied with the price of the service redeemable against product. If you know you want to buy something anyway; it is definitely worth the experience because you are essentially getting your makeup done for free. IDEAL FOR SATURDAY NIGHTS!

By doing something like this, you will also learn tips and tricks about how to apply and use the products at home in the most effective way.

Once you know what you need to look for and what to avoid, you can make things super easy by choosing one of her ten ‘LOOKS’.

My favourite styles are THE DOLCE VITA and THE GOLDEN GODDESS!

Give a woman the right makeup and she can conquer the world.

My Charlotte Tilbury Essentials:

Unisex Healthy Glow

When I was managing the spa on Necker Island, a wonderful guest of mine recommended that I use this product and kindly gave me hers as a parting gift. I have always been sceptical of wearing a tinted moisturiser as I  assumed it would never provide me with enough coverage to feel comfortable wearing it. When I tried this one for the first time, I was amazed at how the moisturiser turned from a white liquid into the colour of my skin within seconds.

It didn’t conceal all of my blemishes, but it did give me enough coverage to feel CONFIDENT on the days where I didn’t have any massive eruptions.

I like to dust a little bit of the Airbrush Flawless Finish over the top of this, just to take a way some of the high shine. BUT if you love a dewy complexion, you will love it!

This tinted moisturiser has really helped me during my transition to wearing less makeup without shocking my friends!

Magic Foundation

As soon as I went back to U.K. I visited the nearest stockist and discovered the range had a foundation specially formulated for acne. Not only does it provide maximum coverage, it also promises to help fight acne while I cover up. DOUBLE WIN!

As foundations go, this one can be quite tricky when applying it for the first time and you have to work a little harder to blend it in. I would highly recommend using the Magic Foundation Brush with this product as it helps to manipulate the foundation without dragging it across your skin. The results are SO WORTH IT!

Airbrush Flawless Finish

When you invest in a good foundation it is worth taking the extra step and buying the recommended finishing powder. When it comes to concealing my acne, I want to get the best result. If you choose to wear a mixture of brands, you can change the durability of the product. Of course when it comes to lipsticks, eye shadows and mascaras, I don’t mind mixing it up a bit but when it comes to the face, I prefer using products that were designed to work together.

The Airbrush Flawless Finish has been formulated to give you long lasting, full coverage without drying your skin.
